'Tis HOT!

For those of you in the Los Angeles area, it's a HOT one today.  A scorching 95 degrees.  To many of you, that may be nothing, heck, here in California that's nothing, but for some reason, it feels like it's WAY more than that.

I'm glad that I'm in a building with AC... I'm already dreading going home just for that reason (no AC there) and I know it sounds a bit bipolar-ish, cuz all I've been ranting since this morning is how much I wish I were home.  But heck.  Once the temperature started to rise, being at work didn't suck as much.

Go figure...

:P

I Am an iPhone Apps Addict... Are you?

So finally today, I sat down and thought about my trusty 'ol iPhone and how much of a true addict I really am.  I'll admit.  I'm pretty much ADD when it comes to shiny new things, but the iPhone has my full attention....... and my wallet's.

It gets the lates accessories (more than I can say for my own), and I have downloaded some of the coolest apps (and these are NOT free either!)  It's pretty much my lifeline and it's pretty much how I access everything now-a-days.

My friends usually ask me: "Why do you always text message me.  Why can't you call me like a normal person."  Yeah, see? That's just it.  I am not a normal person.  Anyone who spends $39.99 on an application just because they want to try it out cuz the screenshot looks cool has got to be crazy.

My husband is going down the same path, and I have even 'turned' a few of my friends onto the iPhone.  Some are still living vicariously through me and will soon be hopping in to the iPhone wagon.

You can bet your marbles that when the next Generation iPhone decides to make it's debut, I will be in line to get one (just like I was in line when the Original iPhone came out, and when the 3G iPhone came out).

Hopefully, Apple decides to do it in two years, right around the time my 2 year contract expires.  Everything will be right as rain if they decide to do it then.

These were the ramblings of one crazy as girl... Or just Jessie will be ok.

Chapter 2: I Am Lost, So I Am Cruel

Summary: Naraku is finally defeated... but at what cost? The price they paid for victory was more than they bargained for. Was it worth it? [Inu/Kag]

Disclaimer: I do not own the InuYasha anime/manga series, *sadly sighs*. InuYasha & Co. belong to Rumiko Takahashi. I am NOT affiliated in any way with the aforementioned entity.

Author's Note: Wow... it has been a long time since I have updated this story. I'd like to apologize to you all for the lack in updates, but as always, life gets in the way. But I have not forgotten this story and I will continue with it.  When I originally posted this chapter, I was really... really unhappy with it.  I didn't like the way it had flowed, and I didn't like the way I had written the parts for Sesshomaru.  So I went and changed a few things.  Added a few things.  Jazzed it up a bit.

I'm happy with the way the chapter turned out.  Really happy.  Chapter 3 is already half-written, so hopefully it will be up and running soon.

I am still looking for a beta, and if anyone is interested enough, feel free to contact me. Any suggestions, questions, flames, etc. are appreciated. Oh! And before I forget, thank you everyone who has reviewed up to this point. I truly appreciate it.

InuYasha Manga Scanlations

I was finally able to update my InuYasha Manga Scanlations site.  It had been a long while since I had made and update there.

The site is still under construction, as I am trying to fix some broken links and bugs, also I've been trying to get post some content in the forums, but I just don' thave much time to make some considerable updates on there.  I guess it will just take some time.

I'm still trying to get back on schedule with the scan updates and I have to do some minor revisions to the gallery, maybe add some ligthbox/thickbox effect to make the viewing much smoother and simpler.  We shall see, everything is still in the works.  I'm pretty good with coding and html and what not, but I'm not a genious, so when I get stumped it usually takes me forever to figure things out.

I'm hoping that the site takes off and more and more people come to check it out.  I guess only time will tell if that will happen.

In the mean time though, I'll just keep on posting the scans and hope people enjoy it as much as I do :P

Blueberry girl

Here's a picture of the munchkin after eating some blueberries.

My husband thought it would be a great idea if he gave her the berries to calm her down a bit while we drove back home. I don't think he learned the lesson back when he thought giving her a yogurt in the car would be a good idea as well.

Daniel... the Fallen Angel

For those of you who aren't aware... I'm in the process of writing a novel.  I'm not going to say much about it, other than the main character, Daniel is a fallen angel.  I did request a commission from the fabulous Kristin Berg, and she did an amazing job...
